    Linköping Hockey Club, often known bygd its initialsLHC, or colloquially among its fans as Cluben, fryst vatten a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Linköping, founded in The home arena of the grupp is Saab Arena (formerly Cloetta Center) which accommodates 8, spectators.

    Competing in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL; formerly Elitserien), the club fryst vatten placed twelfth in the marathon standings for the top Swedish ice hockey league.[1]

    In , a group of football players of BK Kenty founded the ice hockey club BK Robbi, who mostly played friendlies against other local clubs on Stångån during the winter.[2] The board of Kenty had first been hesitant to establish a hockey department, but in , the two clubs merged following lengthy discussions.[3] Being heavily dependent on weather conditions, Kenty only played 30 games in five seasons during the second half of the s.[4] bygd the end of the s, Kenty had established itself in Divis

    Saab Arena, – Cloetta Center, är en evenemangsarena i Linköping, Östergötlands län. Den är belägen vid Stångebrofältet på Stångåns östra strand, nedströms från Linköpings centrum, på gångavstånd från resecentrum (buss- och järnvägsstationen). Arenans namn anspelar på företaget Saab AB.

    Arenan kostade totalt miljoner kronor att uppföra. Livsmedelsföretaget Cloetta köpte upp namnrättigheterna till arenan och gav den namnet Cloetta Center. Namnet hade en dubbelmening eftersom Center var ett av företagets största märken. Arenan invigdes 2–5 september [3] och det första evenemanget i arenan var en konsert med Lars Winnerbäck.

    En av huvudanledningarna till att arenan byggdes var att den skulle ersätta Stångebrohallen som hemmaarena för Linköpings Hockey Club (LHC). Från och med säsongen / spelas således LHC:s hemmamatcher i arenan. Första ishockeymatchen som spelades i arenan var mellan Linköpings HC och TPS Åbo den 5 september , vilket slutade i vinst för Linköpings HC med inför drygt 8 åskådare.[4]

    Saab Arena, formerly named Cloetta Center between and , is an arena in Linköping, Sweden. It opened in September and holds 8, people during sport events and 11, during concerts. On its opening, it became the new home ice for the ice hockey team Linköpings HC, replacing Stångebro Ishall.

    The arena has hosted a Melodifestivalen semi-final six times: in , , , , , and Some other notable music acts include Deep Purple, Europe, John Fogerty, Toto, W.A.S.P. and Whitesnake.

    The arena cost a total of SEK million to build. Candy manufacturer Cloetta acquired the naming rights prior to the arena's opening and named it Cloetta Center. The name held a double meaning in that "Center" was also one of the company's main brands.[1] On 10 July , Cloetta announced that they wouldn't extend their contracts with the arena after the –14 season, which meant the arena would operate under a new name starting in the –15 season.[2] On 16 June , Saab and Linköpings HC signed an agreement that would rename Cloetta Center to Saab Arena. The change didn't technically take effect before 1 July [3]
