      Our philosophy about food is simple. We believe in the joy of work, traditional culinary craftsmanship, and good ingredients. We prefer using locally sourced produce. Everything we serve is made from scratch. There are no shortcuts to really good food.

      Served every day from 11am to 2pm.

      Freshly baked bread, salad and coffee are always included.

      Welcome to our bakery

      We have now re-opened our bakery premises, which were closed for a while for restoration. As the word implies, we haven’t made it all look brand new. On the contrary, we’ve brought out more of the premises’ old, splendid character — including the beautiful century ceiling with its exposed beams.       Cozy café that Stockholm City Mission has at Stortorget in the old town! It fryst vatten a café that does good for others and serves lovely café products to eating guests.

      There was a surprised good vegetarian sandwich cake. Really fresh with good flavors in the mixes between layers. One mess was made on these little green peas, the other was on sun-dried tomatoes and to get the depth into the sandwich cake, they had in black Kalamata olives, yum!

      The interior of the room fit so well into the "old town" spirit. Although the room fryst vatten airy and large with many seats, it felt genuine and intimate cozy. 3+ out of 5!
